The Reno/Carson area is full of bridge activity year round. Our club is part of Unit 465 (The Carson Unit) and our Unit is part of District 21. Our change, in 2008, from District 20 to 21 now puts us in the same district as the northern California clubs, including San Francisco. The clubs of the Reno Unit are also part of our District even though it is a different Unit (473). And, of course, we are all part of the ACBL. We encourage players to take advantage of all the bridge activities available in our surrounding communities.
Below are links to the different Units and the District. Click on any of the buttons to find out what is going on in their area or at their club. We will also post news, events, and changes in activities as they are given to us by the different clubs.

As a courtesy to both local bridge players, and out-of-area bridge players who have made requests, we are including this information about other duplicate bridge clubs in the Tahoe area. These clubs are not ACBL affiliated, their games are unsanctioned (you can not earn masterpoints), are daytime only, and are not part of our ABCL local network. However, they do offer bridge players an alternative environment in which to play duplicate bridge, fill a gap for daytime play, and are run by some of the most wonderful people you would want to meet.
These two clubs offer competitive duplicate bridge on Monday and Thursday respectively. Both clubs begin at 10:30 A.M. Each club is run by ACBL certified director and follow ACBL rules. A number of the players are Life Masters, and Bronze Life Masters , and many of the players compete in major ACBL tournaments. The fee for the Monday group is $9.00 which includes a buffet style lunch, and the fee for the Thursday group is $3.00 and you bring your own bag lunch. Both clubs require reservations..

For reservations and further information time, location, fees, etc. please contact George or Lorrie Moore at 530-587-6980

There is also a beginners bridge club meeting at Tahoe Donner. It is run by Pat Cala (who runs the Monday club) and is specifically geared to beginner players. Bridge lessons are also part of the the clubs activities. For information on that club please call George Moore at 530-546-6980.
